Lance DeBoyle and Gabriella Labucci host the show every week, however so much happens behind the scenes also.

Host

Ballarat’s own Mr. Entertainment and oldest Twink has been in and around the entertainment traps for almost 3 decades.
Lance has graced the stage of many LGBT+ Festivals and venues around Australia. He was co-host of the 2016 Winter Chilling Fundraiser for the Daylesford Chillout Festival and The Jewel in the Crown pageant and also appeared in the Queer underground film “Planet of the Kings”.
Lance has been the excitable, spontaneous and often outrageous male host of Lance TV since the project’s humble beginnings in 2017.

GABRIELLA LABUCCI

Gabriella Labucci

Host

Gabriella is the sassy co-host who has been part of the Lance TV team since the show’s inception. Gabriella is a singing, lip syncing, dancing, acting, modelling, hostess, showgirl who is always looking to add new talents to her repertoire.
Gabriella has appeared on the stage of numerous LGBT+ events in Ballarat, Daylesford and Melbourne and at larger events such as Daylesford Chillout and the Ballan Autumn Festival.
In between Lance TV appearances, you can find Gabriella working away on all of her social media outlets.

Deb Lord

Deb Lord

Executive Producer

Deb is the Producer, Head of Production and Artistic Director for Lance TV. Deb has a strong background in Community Arts practice, having worked communities in Cairns, Sydney and Darwin. She brings with her a working knowledge of performance and technical skills which include sound engineering, video editing, lighting design and visual arts. She is part of the original Lance TV crew and has been the quiet driving force behind the growing success of the Lance TV project.

Roddy Ramos

Roddy Ramos

Technical Lead

As a widely experienced technical/mechanist/set builder Roddy brings a multitude of vital skills to the Lance TV tech crew.
Roddy was there at the inception of Lance TV and has been a major part of planning and set design and construction. Throughout his career Roddy has worked in Special Events, visual merchandise, theatre, television and film production. This has enabled him to develop a wide range of technical skills.

Markus Benjamin

Markus Benjamin

Floor Manager

Markus joins the LaNCE TV crew as Floor Manager. Over the course of his career, Markus has been involved in a broad range of theatre related roles including Stage Management for ChillOut Festival, Good Vibes Music Festival and RAW Comedy, technical lighting and design for various live productions, and installations at the National Art Gallery of Victoria.

Cameron Hodgson

Makeup Artist

Cameron is the Lance TV makeup artist and has been since the show’s conception. Cameron began pursuing his talents with cosmetics in 2014 when he stumbled across the television show “Rupaul’s Drag Race” which really ignited his passion to explore his creativity through the medium that is make up. Although the primary focus for Cameron is drag make up, he explores beauty, conceptual, artistic make up and many other styles.

Composer

Christine is the composer of the opening and closing show themes for Lance TV. She has composed music for feature length and short films. Her work with community theatre has made use of her talent in making sound-sculptures which allow the telling of story to be heard using the voice of the person and then rendering it in front of her personalized music scores. She has over 40 years experience composing, performing, teaching, conducting, orchestrating, arranging, and inspiring people and communities to explore their voices with confidence.

Randal Smith

Voice Over

Randal is the original Lance TV voice over guy. Randal is a Voice Over Artist with 29 years (and counting) in Commercial Television and 15 years experience in Commercial Radio. Randal is also currently (Jan 2020) working in conjunction with a production house in Sydney (Purple Wax)

Akasha Temple

Akasha Temple

Composer

Akasha Temple joins the Lance TV crew as the composer of the show’s incidental music. Akasha is a professional musician, composer, community cultural development artist & videographer. For the last 20 years Akasha has worked within the Melbourne Arts community running music, performance & specialised film workshops with the Disabled, Acquired Brain Injury and Autistic communities. In the last 12-months, Akasha has completed 25 short films through these community workshops. Her work makes visible the stories of people isolated in fringe groups in the EN(dis)abled, Autistic & LGBTIQ community. Being Autistic, Transgender, Queer herself, Akasha’s workshops connect with people who have had similar experiences to her own.

Emerging Wadawurrung Elder

Deanne is an emerging Wadawurrung Elder, an award-winning multi-media visual artist and long time friend of Lance TV. Deanne performed a Welcome to Country for the very first Lance TV show in 2017, and thus, Wadawurrung language were the first words ever spoken. Lance TV is honoured that Wadawurrung language will be the first words heard prior to Lance TV episodes on C31.

Zara Jones and Eli Gray

Speak EZ is a 3 minute segment from Zara Jones and Eli Gray, discussing topics relevant to the LGBTIQ community.

Zara is a proud trans woman delivering on her passion to improve the lives of others by sharing her time between creating story-telling and advocacy films, working as an NDIS support worker, Vice President of Rural Rainbows and the Director of a transgender social support group Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond. Zara uses she/her pronouns, is a proud parent of two wonderful adolescents and loves spending time with friends, dancing and op-shopping. Zara’s happy place is upside down on a pole, with toes pointed in a striking pose during a pole dancing routine.

Eli is a rural living gay trans man with a creative soul and passion for advocating for the LGBTI+ community, social worker, environmentalist and keen book reader. Eli is the Vice President for the social support group Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond. He is “famous” for following his passion for volunteering with various community causes. Eli is a newly proud Doggie Dad and can often be found trying to train a particularly energetic 15 week old pup, working on personal development or wandering the aisles of bookstores.
